Nushagak River Fishing Report

Nushagak River Fishing Report

Get ready for the run, Chinook salmon have started to enter the river and we should start to see some action here come mid-June. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game are indicating a good run this year and the peak of the season is expected to be the last week of June. Start getting your gear ready for another great King salmon season on the Nushagak

The normal daily limit is two (2) per day only one of which may exceed 28 inches in length. There is an annual limit of 4 kings per angler per season of any size in the Nushagak/ Mulchatna River drainage, and other restrictions apply. Check the regulation booklet carefully before going fishing.

Also if the fishing is slow on the Nushagak N.W. walleye fishing guides are offering guided walleye fishing trips in the Portland area on the Columbia River. Give Buddy Dupell of Columbia River Fishing Adventures a call at 503-490-3099 and book your NW Walleye fishing trip today.
